Treatment Guide

  • Before Treatment

    Discontinue use of retinol and other active exfoliating ingredients at least 1 week prior to treatment.

    If you recently suffered a sunburn, wait 3 weeks to 1 month before this treatment.

    If you have a recent tan (natural or artificial), wait at least 2 weeks before this treatment.

  • After Treatment

    Limit sun exposure for 1 week after treatment and use sunscreen daily to protect your skin.

    You will notice that the dark spots rise to the surface of your skin in 1-2 days. This is completely normal and a sign that the treatment is working. Let them fall off naturally over the next 1-2 weeks to avoid hyperpigmentation. Do not scratch or pinch them.

  • Results

    You will begin to notice improvements in your skin within 1-2 weeks. However, results will continue to improve over time and you will probably see the best effects approximately 1 month after your last session.

  • Frequency

    We recommend an initial series of 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart. After that, we suggest repeating the series annually to maintain results.
